About AK-47
The most produced firearm in history with over 100 million made. Designed by a wounded tank sergeant who wanted a reliable weapon for Soviet soldiers. Costs as little as 50 dollars in some conflict zones. Appears on the flag of Mozambique. Simple enough to be maintained by child soldiers. Kalashnikov expressed regret about its use by criminals before his death.
