About Trident II

Submarine-launched ballistic missiles, the most survivable leg of the nuclear triad. Ohio-class submarines carry 24 each, on patrol 24/7. Each missile can carry 8 independently targetable warheads. A single submarine could devastate an entire country. The UK also operates Trident missiles.
