About Trebuchet

Could hurl 140 kg stones over 300 meters. The counterweight trebuchet was the most powerful pre-gunpowder siege weapon. Used from the 12th century until cannons replaced it. The Chinese first used human-powered traction trebuchets. Could also launch disease-ridden corpses into besieged cities.
