Stuka

About Stuka

The Junkers Ju 87 had wailing sirens attached to its landing gear, designed to terrify. The scream was a psychological weapon as much as the bombs. Devastating in the early blitzkrieg campaigns. Obsolete by the Battle of Britain, too slow without air superiority.
