About Stinger Missile
A shoulder-fired heat-seeking missile. Changed the Soviet-Afghan war when the US supplied hundreds to the mujahideen. Soviet helicopter losses tripled. Has downed over 270 aircraft since entering service. Still in use by over 30 countries. The Taliban still have some from the 1980s.
