About Paris Gun
Shelled Paris from 120 km away during WWI. The shells were the first human-made objects to reach the stratosphere. The gun was so powerful it wore out after 65 shots. Parisians thought they were being bombed by a high-altitude Zeppelin. The gun was never found after the war.
