About Maquahuitl
A wooden club edged with razor-sharp obsidian blades. Could decapitate a horse according to Spanish conquistadors. The obsidian flakes were sharper than surgical steel. The blades broke on impact, creating devastating jagged wounds. No metal was used, only volcanic glass and wood.
