A tool that became a weapon of revolution and genocide. Used in the Rwandan genocide to kill 800,000 in 100 days. Also a tool of survival in tropical agriculture. The Cuban revolutionaries carried them as both tool and weapon. Cheap, available, and terrifyingly effective.
