Kukri

About Kukri

The curved knife of the Gurkhas, used as both tool and weapon. The notch near the handle prevents blood from running onto the grip. Gurkhas famously draw blood every time they unsheathe it. Served the British military with distinction since 1815. Still issued to Gurkha regiments today.
