About Glock 17
Designed by a curtain rod manufacturer with no firearms experience. Its polymer frame was revolutionary and initially feared as invisible to airport security. Now the most popular police sidearm worldwide, used in 65% of US law enforcement. Gaston Glock was worth an estimated 1.5 billion dollars when he died in 2023.
