Used across the Amazon and Southeast Asian rainforests. Darts tipped with curare poison could kill a monkey in seconds. The poison blocks nerve signals, causing paralysis. Calibrated for prey size, a monkey dose would not kill a human immediately. Still used by some indigenous groups.
