About BAR
The Browning Automatic Rifle provided walking fire in WWI. Too heavy for a standard rifle, too light for a machine gun, it filled an odd niche. Served through Korea and Vietnam. Bonnie and Clyde famously used a stolen BAR during their crime spree.
