A lever that extends the throwing arm, increasing spear range and velocity by 3-4 times. Used on every inhabited continent. Some modern enthusiasts can throw darts over 200 meters. The Aztecs used them against Spanish steel armor effectively. Probably helped humans hunt mammoths.
